The idea behind Pritchard Farm Properties is to put together a community that is homogeneous, unique and urbane.

"Winnipeg is a community of communities," says Art Defehr, a principal with Palliser Furniture and developer of the property. "In the North East there is little in the new home market along the scale and in the price ranges that we are offering. At the upper end there are homes here that we hope will attract the leading members of North East Winnipeg that want to stay here but can't find homes suitable to their requirements."

Defehr also mentions that Pritchard Farm Properties is a development that will include more modest homes in the 1300 to 1800 square foot range. "We are looking at a 20 year development pattern that will result in the end with a balanced fully stratified community."
